Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Preparing pathology and autopsy tissues for examination by the Pathologist.
- Assist the Pathologist in gross specimen examination and frozen section procedures.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technologist
- Licensed as a Certified Clinical Laboratory Technician or Certified Histological Technician under the NYS Department of Education
- Minimum of 1 year successful experience in Histology desired
Salary Range
USD $37.25 - USD $52.14 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
