The Director of the Radiologic Technology Program provides leadership and administrative oversight for a JRCERT-accredited School of Radiography. This role ensures high-quality didactic and clinical education, compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, and effective management of faculty, staff, and students.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and manage the radiography curriculum in compliance with JRCERT, ARRT, and NYSDOH standards
Prepare and maintain accreditation reports, self-studies, and outcome assessments
Teach assigned courses and coordinate guest lecturers
Oversee clinical education, faculty performance, and staffing
Recruit, select, and advise students; oversee admissions and student records
Chair annual Advisory Committee meetings
Maintain student handbooks, policies, and program documentation
Manage program budget, financial records, and purchasing
Plan and coordinate graduation ceremonies
Serve as liaison to clinical sites, vendors, and professional organizations
Foster a respectful, collaborative learning and work environment
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree required
Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program
Minimum 3 years post-ARRT certification professional experience
Minimum 2 years teaching experience (JRCERT-accredited program preferred)
Current NYS Radiologic Technology license
Current ARRT registration
