Director of the Mercy Hospital Radiology School Program
The Director of the Radiologic Technology Program provides leadership and administrative oversight for a JRCERT-accredited School of Radiography. This role ensures high-quality didactic and clinical education, compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, and effective management of faculty, staff, and students.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage the radiography curriculum in compliance with JRCERT, ARRT, and NYSDOH standards
- Prepare and maintain accreditation reports, self-studies, and outcome assessments
- Teach assigned courses and coordinate guest lecturers
- Oversee clinical education, faculty performance, and staffing
- Recruit, select, and advise students; oversee admissions and student records
- Chair annual Advisory Committee meetings
- Maintain student handbooks, policies, and program documentation
- Manage program budget, financial records, and purchasing
- Plan and coordinate graduation ceremonies
- Serve as liaison to clinical sites, vendors, and professional organizations
- Foster a respectful, collaborative learning and work environment
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s Degree required
- Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program
- Minimum 3 years post-ARRT certification professional experience
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience (JRCERT-accredited program preferred)
- Current NYS Radiologic Technology license
- Current ARRT registration
Salary Range
USD $110,000.00 - USD $125,000.00 /Yr.
