Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the process for internal vacancies and end-to-end internal recruitment. The Talent Acquisition Specialist reviews and recommends qualified, eligible internal applicants who meet established position qualifications, to the appropriate manager and communicates with internal applicants by extending offers and dispositioning candidates. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for effectively managing all change-of-status processes in conjunction with appropriate union contracts and will work with other HR team members to determine rates, benefits, etc. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be a point of entry for agency requests, as well as review rates and candidates with hiring managers while ensuring continuous process improvement and the sharing of best practices.

Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
- Associate Degree in HR or related field, five (5) years of HR related experience accepted in lieu of degree
- PHR Certification is preferred
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum three (3) years relevant work experience in Recruitment, Applicant Sourcing, Human Resources, or related field, preferably in a healthcare environment
- Strong work ethic and track record of achievement
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
- Excellent knowledge of NYS and Federal employment law and regulations
- Solid computer skills utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint software applications
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
