Position Summary
Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and St. Joseph School in Pierre, SD is seeking a Full-Time Custodian to join our team immediately! This position is responsible for the day-to-day cleaning, upkeep, and other facility needs of our assigned buildings — ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all staff, students, and parishioners.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of assigned facilities
- Maintain a safe and orderly environment for staff and students
- Address facility needs as they arise throughout the day
- Work both independently and cooperatively with others to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly
Requirements
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively with others
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to be on your feet throughout the workday
- Must pass a South Dakota background check
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Benefits: Position is eligible for health benefits
- Location: Pierre, South Dakota
