Muskegon Catholic Central is seeking a dynamic leader to take the reins of Crusader Varsity Basketball and drive the next chapter of our program. We are seeking a coach with the vision to elevate the varsity level while creating alignment throughout the program. The right candidate will establish a fast-paced, disciplined, and unselfish style of play built on accountability, toughness, and team-first mentality. From offseason workouts to game night execution, this leader will create a culture where every possession matters, every role is valued, and every player is pushed to improve.
Our next coach will develop high-IQ players, mentor assistant coaches, and energize the MCC communitybuilding a program that not only competes for championships, but develops leaders ready to step up in every arena of life. Position Overview The Head Varsity Basketball Coach will oversee all aspects of the basketball program and work collaboratively with school leadership to ensure the program reflects the mission and values of Muskegon Catholic Central. This role demands a leader who can set the tempo for the entire programbuilding and sustaining a championship culture, developing student-athletes, and aligning every level of Crusader basketball around a shared vision for success. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will bring previous basketball coaching experience, preferably at the high school or collegiate level, along with a proven ability to lead, build, and elevate a program.
Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education and possess excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. A passion for teaching the game, developing high-character student-athletes, and mentoring Program Leadership -Provide vision, leadership, and direction for the entire boys basketball program. -Establish a culture that emphasizes discipline, accountability, and teamwork. -Ensure alignment and development across all levels.
