Position: Third Grade for the 2026-2027 school year. Holy Family School in Stow is a K–8 school experiencing continued enrollment growth, prompting the expansion of several grade-level classrooms. Rooted in the belief that we “educate the whole child,” we recognize that each student is created in God’s image and is uniquely gifted. Third Grade Position: Our third-grade teachers are self-contained and responsible for teaching all subject areas. Our school creates a faith-filled learning environment that supports academic, social, and spiritual development. The teachers collaborate with partners and families to foster relationships, responsibility, curiosity, and a love of learning.

Responsibilities: Create a learning environment that is safe and nurturing. Confer with parents/guardians, co-teachers, and administrators to resolve students’ behavioral or academic needs. Maintain a safe and organized classroom. Supervise students during lessons, snack time, and recess. Attend and participate in staff meetings, extra-curricular activities, and committees. Perform duties assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit. Proctoring the NWEA Map Assessment three times per year. Third Grade Reading Guarantee Other duties as assigned by the school administration. Skills: Ability to develop instructional strategies and activities that are engaging and educational for students in the classroom. Ability to instruct children in the rules of conduct and the learning of tasks. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. Proficient active listening skills to understand and adapt to the various needs of children and parents. Patience and compassion suitable for working with young children.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Elementary Education Valid Ohio teaching license. VIRTUS trained or willing to obtain Ability to successfully pass a BCI & FBI background check Hold or be willing to obtain proper religious certification through the Diocese of Cleveland. Strong management and communication skills Commitment to continuous professional and religious growth.
