Put your financial expertise to work for a mission that matters. The Catholic Community Foundation of Mid-Michigan is seeking an experienced, organized, and service-minded Finance Manager to join our team.

This is more than an accounting position. The Finance Manager plays a key role in safeguarding the financial resources entrusted to the Foundation and helping those resources support Catholic parishes, schools, ministries, and communities throughout Mid-Michigan--today and for generations to come.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Finance Manager oversees the Foundation's day-to-day financial operations and provides accurate, timely financial information to Foundation leadership, staff, Board members, committees, and other constituents.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Work closely with the grants and endowment department.
• Develop the annual budget and monitor financial performance.
• Prepare financial reports, analysis, and projections for leadership and the Board.
• Monitor cash flow, bank accounts, investments, and investment transactions.
• Coordinate annual audits, Form 990 preparation, and required financial filings.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of gifts, grants, scholarships, donor-advised funds, and other disbursements.
• Support the Foundation's Finance, Investment, and Audit Committees.
• Work collaboratively with staff, donors, pastors, Board members, fund holders, professional advisors, and community partners.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant financial experience.
• CPA certification is a plus, though not required.
• Nonprofit or foundation experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, and Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Strong communications, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• High standards of integrity, professionalism, discretion, and service.

Experience with CommunitySuite or other nonprofit/fund-accounting systems is a plus.
