Key Responsibilities
- Supervise family visits in accordance with the County DSS guidelines, OCFS Coached Family guidelines and developmentally appropriate child practices.
- Provide parent education services to the parent in the home, community, or office.
- Maintain positive professional communication with families enrolled in the programs while offering guidance and suggestions on parenting skills.
- Develop and maintain a working relationship with parents in the program.
- Work towards securing emotional health through the promotion of age appropriate parenting.
- Formulate individual parenting goals in conjunction with the parents, Family Services Director/SV Coordinator and DSS
Salary Range: $20.50–$21.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday 9am to 4:30; Wed & Thursday 11:30-7. 30 minute lunch
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Human services or related field
1–3 years of experience working with a diverse population.
