Role Overview
The Program Manager - Senior Housing leads and manages the Senior Housing programs by overseeing daily operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality resident care, optimizing budgets and performance, fostering strategic partnerships, and developing a high-performing, collaborative team to enhance resident well-being and program impact.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and strategic coordination of Senior Housing programs to ensure high-qualityservice delivery and resident well-being. Manage budgets and resources in alignment with program goals,funding requirements, and organizational standards. Respond to resident and facility emergencies as needed,including after-hours or weekend situations.
- Evaluate program performance and resident outcomes to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and areasfor growth. Develop and implement initiatives that enhance resident satisfaction, operational efficiency, andprogram impact. Ensure continuous compliance with housing regulations and best practices.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, community partners, and local agencies topromote coordinated care and housing stability. Represent the Senior Housing program at community events,meetings, and stakeholder forums to strengthen partnerships and visibility.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including Facilities, Finance, and Social Services, to ensure cohesiveservice delivery and effective problem-solving. Communicate program updates, challenges, and successesacross CCAC to align housing initiatives with organizational priorities.
- Lead and develop the assigned Senior Housing team by setting clear goals and expectations, monitoringperformance, and providing regular feedback and guidance. Inspire team excellence by modeling accountability,collaboration, and solution-oriented thinking, and ensure staff are supported, empowered, and high-performingwhile fostering a positive, purpose-driven culture.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum
- Associate's Degree (AA) in a related field of study; or equivalent and relevant experience may substitute 3-5 years relevant experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with community resources and services.
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in a related field of study 5 years relevant experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop staff.
- In-depth knowledge of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and compliance.
- Conflict resolution and crisis management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
Certifications and Licensure
- Minimum Must obtain NCHM Certified Occupancy Specialist certificate within 12 months. Obtain IREM Accredited Residential Manager Certification (ARM)
- Preferred NCHM Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) IREM - Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) or equivalent industry recognized designation.
