Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Food Pantry Specialist based in Lancaster, TX. The Food Pantry Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the food pantry, including food preparation, organization, and distribution. Primary duties include managing inventory, ensuring proper food handling and safety, coordinating with volunteers, maintaining a clean and organized pantry environment, and providing excellent service to clients in need. The start date for this position will be May 26th.
Qualifications
- Experience in Food & Beverage and Food Service operations
- Strong Communication skills and ability to interact effectively with clients, volunteers, and staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
- Familiarity with health and safety standards related to food handling is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant qualifications are an asset
- Warehouse experience preferred, able to lift 50 lbs.
