Key Responsibilities
- Deliver meals and non-perishable food bags to various sites across Acadiana using company vehicles.
- Ensure proper meal quantities, beverages, utensils, and temperature control for deliveries.
- Provide excellent support to volunteers - assisting with check-in, orientation, and overall experience.
- Assist with all volunteer duties, including serving meals, refilling service lines, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, dining room, and restrooms.
- Help assemble FoodNet bags for distribution.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment aligned with organizational hygiene and safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to successfully multitask.
- Able to lift at least 30 lbs and load/unload vehicles as needed.
- Punctual, dependable, and committed to teamwork.
- Flexible and willing to work weekends and holidays - this position operates across all seven days of the week.
- Medium: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. 100% of the time.
