With your education and experience in human services you know the importance of listening closely and working carefully to meet client needs and help them to access the services they need. You’re in a key position, facilitating much-needed relief by helping clients meet important, practical goals. Job Training Caseworker Key Performance Objectives Include:
- Assesses individuals and makes recommendations for entry into the Job Training Program
- Assists with administering comprehensive assessments for clients entering the Job Training Program to identify strengths and areas of need related to gaining and sustaining employment.
- Provides case management and service planning to assist clients in the Job Training Program with setting achievable objectives.
- Assists assigned clients with successfully addressing barriers to employment.
- Provides or arranges for needed supportive services to fulfill service plan objectives.
- Documents all interactions with clients, service coordination information, and goal planning activities in a timely, comprehensive, and accurate manner to ensure compliance with program standards.
- Works collaboratively with the Job Training Program Team to develop new approaches to better serve the needs of clients.
Minimum Qualifications:
- An associate’s degree in a human services field or an equivalent field is required.
- A minimum of one year of social service experience is required. Internship experience is acceptable.
- A proven ability to interact constructively with community agencies and resources is required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills are required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
- Excellent documentation skills are required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required.
- Act 33/34 and FBI clearances are required.
