Licensed Faith Based Clinician LPC, LCSW, LMFT 089 - Fee for Service
Phillipsburg or Flemington, NJ
Salary: $35-$45 per hour, Fee for Service
Description:
- The Fee-for-Service Faith-Based (Catholic) Therapist will provide counseling services to individuals, couples, and families in alignment with the mission and values of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen.
- We are seeking fully licensed New Jersey clinicians (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) who are self-motivated, compassionate, and skilled at establishing rapport and building trusting relationships with clients.
- Clinicians are expected to adhere to the ethical standards and professional guidelines of their respective licenses while incorporating appropriate faith-based interventions into their clinical practice.
- This position offers a flexible schedule, with the option to provide services in person, via telehealth, or through a hybrid combination of both.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited college with a Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or other behavioral health program approved for clinical licensure.
- Must have a LPC, LMFT or LCSW active in NJ.
- Candidates holding an active LAC or LSW NJ license may also be considered, provided they obtain external supervision from an experienced faith-based clinical supervisor.
- Maintain professional license and continuing education requirements as per their credentialing board.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team.
- Ability to conduct proper and appropriate assessments including biopsychosocial, treatment plans, progress notes/documentation and recommendations for psychiatric evaluations.
- Clinicians must be trauma-informed and knowledgeable in CBT and MI modalities.
- Candidates must provide documentation of Catholic education or formal training in faith-based counseling to demonstrate competency in integrating Catholic teachings into clinical practice.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency preferred but not required.
