Role Description
Catholic Care Center is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations, with a focus on recruitment, onboarding, employee support, and HR administration. This role partners with the Vice President of Human Resources and department leaders to attract qualified candidates, manage open positions, and support employees throughout the employment lifecycle.
The Human Resources Generalist coordinates recruiting and hiring activities, supports onboarding and new hire orientation, maintains employee records in the HRIS system, and assists with benefits administration and compliance. The role also supports employee relations, workers’ compensation processes, HR reporting, and other HR initiatives that contribute to a positive employee experience and effective workforce operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressive HR experience required, including recruiting or talent acquisition responsibilities
- Experience in healthcare, long term care, or a similarly regulated environment preferred
- Working knowledge of recruiting practices, employee relations, HR systems, and benefits administration
- Experience with Paycor or a similar HRIS platform preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional discretion with a strong commitment to confidentiality
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
