This position requires expertise in teaching the fundamentals of all aspects of two dimensional art. This includes both traditional and digital media, such as digital drawing, as well as the technical and creative aspects of photography. In this role you will develop and deliver lessons that cover both traditional and digital drawing and photography, guiding students through studio projects, Adobe Creative Cloud, 2D art & design, digital drawing using tools such as Procreate, critiques, visual storytelling, and portfolio development. Additional responsibilities may include coordinating student art exhibits and capturing photos during school sponsored events for use in publications, marketing, or archival purposes. This position is a full-time, 10-month salaried exempt position, not subject to overtime pay and requires a commitment to working a variable schedule as needed to meet the demands of the role.
