Cathedral is seeking a dynamic religion teacher to join our community for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond.
Teacher assigned full time course load of 5 classes that may range from grade 7-12.
Our course pathway is:
Grade 7 - Intro to Church
Grade 8 - Intro to Faith & Christianity
Grade 9 - Old Testament
Grade 10 - New Testament
Grade 11 - Catholic Social Teaching
Grade 12 - People of Faith
Candidates should expect to:
- Develop rigorous, standards-aligned lessons that center scholars as thinkers and problem solvers through authentic, meaningful tasks.
- Believe deeply in the ability of all scholars to learn and design instruction that encourages growth mindset, productive struggle, and student ownership.
- Cultivate a safe, inclusive classroom culture grounded in strong relationships and a shared commitment to learning.
- Participate in, and contribute to, all professional meetings, duties, and obligations
- Communicate on a regular basis with colleagues, scholars, and their families
Salary : $50,000 - $70,000
