Job Overview
The Executive Assistant to the President serves as a valuable member of the President’s team at Cathedral, serving as a primary point of contact for matters that are vital to the strength and longevity of Cathedral’s mission. The scope of work, responsibility and opportunity of this role extend beyond what might be considered the traditional executive assistant job description. The Executive Assistant will play a critical role in all major initiatives of Cathedral, including but not limited to the implementation of a new strategic plan, marketing Cathedral to target audiences and constituent groups, and maintaining an upbeat and positive school culture for both faculty and students. The Executive Assistant will have ample opportunities to impact major school initiatives and play a critical role in the continued growth of Cathedral.

Essential Job Functions:
Provide strategic support to the fundraising and admissions efforts of the school in a way that allows teams and individuals to accomplish main goals and priorities.
Seamlessly coordinate Board of Trustees meetings, including but not limited to: assembling reports from senior staff members, sending agenda and materials to Board members in advance of the meetings (as directed by the Board Chair), ensuring that minutes are filed electronically and follow-up action steps are completed.
Serve as a liaison between CHS and the Adopt-A-Student Foundation on all matters of finance, event management, and development.
Coordinate the meetings, agendas, and follow-up of subcommittees of the Board of Trustees
Create meeting agendas, presentations, and other documents and deliverables for the President and Chief Financial Officer.
Provide calendar management for the President.
Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with accuracy.
Handle the President’s correspondence including phone, email, invitations, mail merges and meeting follow-up.
Attend meetings at the direction of the President and record, distribute, and file minutes in a timely manner.
Complete, deliver, collect, and file all RCAB contracts for faculty and CHS contracts for staff, and collaborate with the Finance Office to ensure accurate payroll and business records.
