As one of just 15 Holy Cross high schools in the country, it is dedicated to educating the whole child—heart, mind, and spirit—in an inclusive and diverse environment. In 2018 Cathedral opened Irish Blessings Child Care, an on-campus early childhood center dedicated to caring for families of Cathedral employees and alumni.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Child Care Teacher working with infants (0-1 year) located at Cathedral Irish Blessings Child Care. The candidate should be comfortable managing and caring for young children, planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, and fostering a safe and nurturing environment. Daily tasks include engaging children in educational activities, maintaining a clean and organized classroom, and collaborating with parents and other staff members to support each child's development.
Qualifications
- Experience in working with young children
- Pedagogy skills and understanding educational best practices
- Creativity skills to design engaging and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to easily adapt and respond to the needs of young children
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
