Join the Catering St Louis Event Staff Team! Be a part of team that provides memorable events at some of St Louis most beautiful location.
A catering worker is responsible for helping with event set-up, truck unload, and clean up and break down. You will also assist in plating and working with food with guidance from your kitchen manager. No experience required! It’s a fantastic way to get your foot into the catering world.
We will work with your schedule and availability, but must work at least two weekends a month.
Essential Functions:
- Maintains appearance and cleanliness of food service areas during event
- Replenishes food and beverage product during event
- Breaks down and cleans food service areas and equipment post event; returns equipment to proper storage area
- Provides excellent customer service, anticipating guests' needs
- Maintains a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
- Ensures security of company assets
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by Kitchen manager
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service role preferred but not required
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Requires constant standing and walking
- Requires frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs.
- Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekend
- HEP A vaccine
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
