General Description /Position Summary:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Technician is tasked with performing the activities associated with the receipt, storage, and/or shipping of electronic components.
The Operations Technician ensures warehouse operations order activities match ERP system. Details are captured and orders corrected accordingly as needed.
NetSuite experience a plus!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Adhere to checklist to review order records and to ensure order received is accurate. Perform receipt of incoming material according to the quality management system
· Perform material storage and inventory activities
· Perform shipping activities
· Review sales, purchasing, and operations documentation to ensure compliance to the quality management system requirements
· Support sales activities by providing accuracy in products, packaging
Minimum Educational Qualifications & Experience:
· Minimum High school diploma or GED required.
· Minimum 1 years of solid experience utilizing an ERP system, receiving, IC or shipping orders.
Technical Knowledge and Skills:
· Attention to detail
· Proficiency in ERP system
· Familiar with using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
· Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work effectively on own or as part of a team
· Ability to use considerable judgment, initiative, and independence
· Ability to hear and speak well enough to converse over telephone 100% of the time
· Ability to see well enough to use computer efficiently and read computer reports and correspondence 100% of the time
· Read, speak, and understand English fluently
