As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization at the bar.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using cash registers or Aloha POS systems.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Assist with catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed.
- Stay updated on drink trends, menu offerings, and promotional items to enhance guest experience.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Experience in cash handling and operating cash registers or POS systems.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques is a plus.
- Experience in catering or fine dining settings is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
