Residential Services Manager
MI residential QP performance expectations
1. Conducts in-service training with program staff as appropriate/needed.
2. Provides clinical supervision for paraprofessionals in the provision of the services MI residents.
3. Participates and or completes treatment planning for residents.
4. Completes quality assurance tracking requirements.
5. Completes new and ongoing clinical assessments of resident needs as appropriate.
6. Audits resident charts to ensure complete and accurate documentation according to all applicable regulations.
7. Coordinates service provision with outside providers.
8. Coordinates service provision with CVH ACTT, CVH PSR, Life Skills, Adult Life etc.
9. Records monthly paraprofessional supervision notes.
10. Monitors all adverse events and incident reports for completeness and accuracy.
11. Submits suggestions for revisions in resident treatment plan to the appropriate staff
12. Completes all Residential Services clinical documentation required for timely submission of authorizations.
13. Checks documentation and records to ensure accuracy for billing purposes.
14. Reviews Residential documentation for compliance and timeliness.
15. Implements and trains staff on new treatment plans as appropriate.
16. Assist with crisis intervention as needed.
17. Gathers information related to move-ins, move-outs and certifications.
18. Participate in interviewing and hiring process as requested.
IDD group home director performance expectations
19. Manage IDD Group Home administrative and clinical requirements
20. Conducts individual, and group administrative/clinical supervision of staff and provides input for staff annual evaluations.
21. Attend/schedule residential staff meetings and management meetings as needed.
22. Assist in preparing for IDD group home audits/surveys including state audits.
23. Ensures program compliance with state group home licensing and other state/ MCO regulations.
24. Monitors IDD group home budget and ensures adherence to budget based on actual funds.
25. Represents CVH, throughout the community to increase awareness of the IDD group homes and attract new consumers and maintain wait list if applicable.
26. Ensure authorizations are completed accurately and timely.
27. Provides direct services to consumers in the IDD group homes if needed.
28. Responsible for attending mandatory trainings and remaining in compliance with all mandatory training’s requirements including NCI, Defensive Driving, CPR, First Aid and Division required trainings for the delivery of services.
29. Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationship with CVH colleagues, including being respectful of colleagues’ ideas, contributing to team processes, using constructive problem-solving processes, communicating proactively and efficiently, and maintaining an overall positive workplace atmosphere.
30. Documentation shall maintain compliance with CVH policies/procedures, purchaser of service requirements (i.e. NC Division of MH/DD/SA, DMA, LME/MCO), accrediting/regulatory bodies (CARF, NC Statues, APSM rules), and the NC Records Manual.
Preferred and Minimum Position Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in a related field; and two years or related experience with the MI and/or SU populations.
- Or minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a non-human service field; and four years of related experience with the MI populations.
- At a minimum the individual must meet NC Division of MH/DD/SAS requirement for Qualified professional.
