Job Summary: 

Catawba Two Kings Casino is seeking an innovative Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate(s) is organized, creative, and excited to use their skills to develop and implement marketing program initiatives and events. This position is a critical member of the Marketing Team who will aid in conception, execution, and planning of casino promotions and unique events. Additionally, this position will play a crucial role in campaign development and social media strategy. 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and Manage marketing communications and distribute the materials to the relevant departments and stakeholders 

• Conceptualize, develop, and maintain marketing, promotions, sponsorship, social media, and Public Relations strategies and calendars  

• Create regulatory submissions to the gaming commission for marketing promotions 

• Assist the Marketing Team with the execution and planning of marketing programs. 

• Develop and maintain Gantt charts, task lists, and note project timeline milestones. 

• Source and purchase promotional materials for casino gift events and develop branded merchandise for mobile enrollment and entitlement programs  

•  Develop and maintain inventory processes and standard operating procedures as it relates to marketing merchandise and promotional inventory 

• Source, research, and maintain relationships with suitable vendors for marketing, promotional, and partnership opportunities 

• Be the subject matter expert in organic social media strategy and content management 

• Develop creative copy for marketing campaign materials, and on property deliverables 

• Collaborate with the Advertising Agency to create paid digital campaigns, SEO, CTV, radio, television, and OOO campaigns to ensure the property exceeds property KPIs 

• Develop, Input, and update all Creative Marketing Requests, and Cross departmental marketing requests 

• Maintain and develop website content and updates  

• Develop geofencing strategy and content for the casino’s player portal and APP 

• Develop SOPs, job aids, and training documents surrounding marketing and social media  

• Proof data and creative content for accuracy for email, on property assets, and direct mail campaigns 

• Develop marketing and contact strategies for Catawba Two Kings Casino’s social casino 

• Work with Mail house and print studio to hit in home dates and project timelines 

• Proof and edit marketing deliverables 

• Maintain weekly logistics and warehouse deliveries of marketing materials 

• Perform other duties as assigned 

Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or GED required bachelor’s degree in marketing highly preferred. 

• Experience with social media content creation and platform management 

• Prior marketing internship, preferred 

• Prior Hospitality experience, within a casino, preferred. 

• Knowledge of CRM systems 

• Working knowledge of workflow and Project Management tools 

• Experience with Windows platform, including Microsoft word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Publisher 

• Excellent math skills. 

• Some travel may be required. 

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Catawba Gaming License. 

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

• Excellent guest service skills. 

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. 

• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. 

• Ability to work an alternate schedule as needed. 

• Ability to work in a loud fast-paced environment (may occasionally be exposed to secondhand cigarette smoke). 

Physical Requirements 

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands,and arms; bend to open/use lower drawers or cabinetry; to talk, hear, and see. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
