SAP ERP Analyst (Manufacturing Operations)
Location: Fort Worth, TX (Onsite)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP ERP Analyst to support Manufacturing Production Operations in a complex enterprise environment. This role will focus on analyzing business processes, identifying system improvements, and delivering SAP solutions that support manufacturing operations, production planning, and execution.
The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in SAP ERP, manufacturing processes, and integrations with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Design and configure SAP ERP solutions supporting production operations.
- Perform gap analysis and recommend process and system enhancements.
- Support SAP project lifecycle activities including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Develop functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, conversions, and integrations.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure business requirements are properly implemented.
- Support integration efforts between SAP ERP and PLM/MES platforms.
- Execute unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance support.
- Create end-user training materials and process documentation.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for manufacturing-related SAP functionality.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of SAP ERP experience supporting manufacturing operations.
- Strong experience with SAP Production Planning (PP) and manufacturing-related processes.
- Experience with one or more of the following Master Data areas:
- Material Masters
- Work Centers
- Bills of Materials (BOMs/MBOMs)
- Routings and Task Lists
- Change Masters
- Experience with one or more of the following Order Management areas:
- Production Orders
- Refurbishment Orders
- Network Orders
- Experience with manufacturing execution processes including:
- Order Release
- Order Confirmations
- Order Splits
- Scrap Management
- Order Cancellations
- Production Scheduling Changes
- Experience authoring functional specifications and business requirements.
- Experience partnering with development teams to deliver customized SAP solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting enterprise manufacturing environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating SAP ERP with PLM systems.
- Experience integrating SAP ERP with MES platforms.
- Aerospace, defense, aviation, or advanced manufacturing industry experience.
- Experience facilitating data-driven decision making.
- Experience supporting large-scale ERP implementations and enhancements.
