Human Resources Business Partner
Overview
The Human Resources Business Partner provides broad-based professional human resources generalist support and other duties as assigned to support the overall business. This position partners with all HR functions to implement practices, policies, and procedures in order to be responsive to the Hospital's goals, culture, and competitive practices. All HR staff members must be focused on the points of integration for seamless patient care, employee effectiveness, and experience.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with HR Business Partners and Management to promote positive employee relations.
- Maintain visibility with employees and address issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws through administration of HR policies, procedures, programs, and initiatives.
- Conduct employee meetings and assist in training and development sessions as needed.
- Develop understanding of and interpret business and HR metrics to drive results.
- Counsel leaders on workforce planning, staffing, performance management, employee/labor relations, and culture.
- Undertake special projects on behalf of HR and associated client groups.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Partner with client groups to develop and implement HR-related project plans.
- Collaborate with Employee & Labor Relations on complex employee relations issues and union activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills / Qualifications
- 3–6 years of Human Resources Generalist/Junior Business Partner experience.
- Experience working in both represented and non-represented environments.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong accountability and alignment with organizational goals.
- Ability to influence and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
