Overview
We are seeking a contract Event Operations Coordinator to manage the operational execution of field event programs. This role serves as the operational backbone between Sales, Marketing, and Marketing Operations to ensure event execution runs smoothly from pre-event planning through post-event lead follow-up.
This is a highly hands-on execution-focused role ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, operationally strong, and comfortable working within Salesforce and cross-functional environments. The ideal candidate thrives on coordination, data management, and ensuring no operational details fall through the cracks.
Responsibilities
Pre-Event Coordination
- Manage customer invite list builds by event location and audience segment
- Validate audience targeting and partner with Marketing teams to gather necessary customer data
- Collaborate with Sales Enablement teams on outreach sequences and messaging
- Create Salesforce campaigns for pre-event invitations and ensure proper routing to assigned sales representatives
Event & Post-Event Operations
- Set up scheduling links using Chili Piper for Account Managers attending events
- Build Salesforce campaigns for attendees and hand-raisers
- Coordinate with Lead Operations and Marketing Operations teams to scrub and load post-event leads into Salesforce or Marketo based on lead qualification and engagement levels
- Confirm proper lead routing and ownership assignment to sales representatives
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Ensure event leads are entered into Salesforce accurately and promptly
- Monitor post-event lead follow-up activity and identify gaps in sales engagement
- Track event performance against established goals and proactively flag operational issues
- Provide Marketing teams with updates on active events and post-event recap reporting
- Maintain clean and accurate data across event and lead management workflows
Skills / Qualifications
Required Experience
- 2 years of experience in Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, or Event Operations
- Experience within B2B SaaS or technology environments preferred
Technical Skills
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce including campaign creation, lead/contact management, reporting, and basic troubleshooting
- Experience with spreadsheet management including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, deduplication, and list management
- Familiarity with Marketo, Chili Piper, or similar sales/marketing operations tools preferred
- Strong data hygiene and operational data management capabilities
Operational & Communication Skills
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple event timelines simultaneously
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to provide concise updates, recaps, and issue escalation
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams with minimal oversight
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong follow-through and accountability
- Comfortable identifying and resolving operational discrepancies proactively
Salary : $40 - $42
