This role offers exceptional growth opportunities including support for obtaining your Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate, Professional Engineer (PE) license, and access to formal mentorship programs. The ideal candidate is passionate about power systems engineering and eager to develop expertise in electrical distribution design while working on meaningful infrastructure projects.

  • Conduct field inspections and site visits, then return to office to complete engineering design work
  • Utilize GIS, AutoCAD/MicroStation, and client-specific systems like GE Smallworld, Bentley Expert Designer, and Maximo
  • Develop permitting documents for various Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs)

  • Create Bill of Materials (BOM) and cost estimates for projects
  • Provide engineering support during construction and conduct post-construction reviews
  • Conduct root cause analysis of outages and develop mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with client safety requirements and design quality standards

  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude
