Catapult Solutions Group, a national staffing and workforce solutions company headquartered in Plano, Texas, is looking for a Director of People & Payroll Operations.
This leader will architect the restructure of our payroll and HR functions into a modern People Operations function for a multi-state, multi-entity, high-growth staffing organization. You'll own the technical core from day one and build the people side of the business alongside our Managing Directors.
What you'll lead:
→ Multi-state payroll tax, governance and controls across weekly payrolls for 500 employees and consultants
→ Payroll, HRIS and timekeeping systems, including VMS integrations and automation that let a lean team scale
→ Benefits, 401(k) and employment compliance
→ The development frameworks, career paths and performance processes our practices run on
→ A payroll and people operations team you'll lead and grow
What you bring:
→ 5 to 7 years in payroll and payroll tax, including 2 to 3 years owning multi-state payroll tax hands-on
→ Experience in staffing, a PEO or another high-volume, weekly-pay environment
→ Strong FLSA knowledge, plus exposure to ACA, FMLA, COBRA, 401(k) and benefits renewals
→ High EQ, a builder's mindset and comfort using technology and AI to multiply a small team
→ CPP or FPC preferred; PHR or SPHR a plus
