We are seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA Integration Developer to serve as a key internal technical owner throughout our SAP S/4HANA implementation and beyond. This is a hands-on, senior-level individual contributor role — not a people management position — that will be embedded from design through go-live and into post-implementation support. You will act as the primary technical liaison to our Application Management Services (AMS) provider and collaborate closely with our System Integrator, functional consultants, and business stakeholders.

Job Description
We are seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA Integration Developer to serve as a key internal technical owner throughout our SAP S/4HANA implementation and beyond. This is a hands-on, senior-level individual contributor role — not a people management position — that will be embedded from design through go-live and into post-implementation support. You will act as the primary technical liaison to our Application Management Services (AMS) provider and collaborate closely with our System Integrator, functional consultants, and business stakeholders.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Lead SAP S/4HANA integration design and delivery, defining standards and best practices for interfaces, mappings, and end-to-end integration patterns
- Design, develop, and deploy integration flows using SAP CPI/Integration Suite to connect S/4HANA with cloud, on-premise, and hybrid third-party systems
- Perform hands-on ABAP, CPI, and API development (REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, SFTP) across multiple workstreams
- Develop and maintain Fiori apps using UI5/OData and ABAP for RICEF objects, supporting clean-core principles and modern SAP architecture
- Oversee build, deployment, and post–go-live support for integrations; monitor and optimize performance and error handling
- Review and approve technical designs and deliverables
- Serve as the primary technical liaison to the SAP BASIS team and third-party AMS provider, owning technical task routing and escalation
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Support the broader SAP integration roadmap aligned with enterprise transformation goals
- 8 years of SAP development and integration experience, including deep hands-on work in SAP S/4HANA, SAP CPI/Integration Suite, and SAP BTP
- Expert-level ABAP and ABAP Objects programming skills
- 5 years of experience with integration technologies including SOAP, REST, OData, XML, JSON, APIs, and SQL
- Proficiency in Fiori/UI5/OData development
- Experience designing integrations across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments
- 3 years using DevOps tools, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at multiple levels
- Experience managing or interfacing with third-party AMS providers
- Familiarity with natural gas industry standards, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics (particularly PRA)
- Experience with SAP PRA, FICO, District Operations (DO), or JVA modules
- Knowledge of ABAP RAP using Eclipse (clean-core architecture)
- Experience with SAP HANA modeling and SAP ECC environments
- Background in data migration or full-cycle SAP implementation projects
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- SAP certifications in S/4HANA, CPI, BTP, or ABAP
- Experience with RISE with SAP on AWS
Pay & Benefits Summary
- $180,000 – $220,000 base salary
- 30% Short-Term Incentive (STI) Long-Term Incentive (LTI) eligibility
