Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical/Instrumentation Technician to join our team. This role involves hands-on electrical and instrumentation work in an industrial setting, requiring expertise with conduit installation, field instruments, and various electrical systems. The successful candidate will work with a variety of tools and equipment while ensuring all installations meet safety and quality standards.

The position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects involving electrical conduit systems, field instrumentation, and pneumatic tubing installations. You'll collaborate with project teams and contribute directly to the successful completion of industrial electrical projects. Face-to-face interviews are required, and local candidates are strongly preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Install and run electrical conduit including EMT and Ridgid systems
• Operate conduit benders (both hand and electric) for precise conduit routing
• Install field instruments such as pressure transmitters and related equipment
• Run and pull various wire sizes through conduit systems
• Install electrical enclosures according to specifications
• Perform stainless steel pneumatic tubing installations
• Install and maintain cable tray systems
• Complete electrical terminations and connections
• Conduct material and manpower takeoffs for project planning
• Maintain compliance with all safety protocols and regulations
  
  

Required Experience/Skills

• Experience running conduit (EMT and Ridgid)
• Proficiency with conduit benders (hand and electric)
• Experience installing field instruments, particularly pressure transmitters
• Ability to run and pull various wire sizes
• Experience with enclosure installation
• Proficiency with tools including Sawzall, drills, and related equipment
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various conditions
  
  

Nice-to-Haves

• Journeyman's license preferred
• Experience with stainless steel pneumatic tubing installation
• Cable tray installation experience
• Electrical termination experience
• Material and manpower takeoff experience

Special Requirements

• Local candidates strongly preferred
• Face-to-face (in-person) interview required
• Must pass 10-panel drug test
• Background check required
• Must provide valid background check, drug screen, copy of ID, and SSC prior to orientation
• OSHA 10 certification required
