Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Operations Analyst / Planner to support a high-performing Service Operations team focused on supply planning, inventory management, and service readiness. This role plays a critical function in ensuring that customer return demand requirements are met through effective planning, forecasting, and cross-functional coordination.
In this role, you will work closely with planning, production, repair operations, program management, and engineering teams to manage supply-demand tradeoffs, optimize inventory health, and support production and service workflows. You will be responsible for analyzing supply gaps, supporting planning decisions, and driving operational efficiency across service-related processes.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and enjoys solving complex supply chain challenges while collaborating across multiple business units.
Duties And Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain service supply plans to support customer return demand requirements
- Manage system parameters including contracts, part numbers, BOMs, and supplier relationships
- Monitor inventory levels, shortages, excess, and demand forecasts
- Partner with production teams to reduce excess inventory and identify alternate parts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate supply-demand tradeoffs
- Analyze capacity, material, and production constraints and recommend solutions
- Prepare weekly supply summaries and performance reports
- Coordinate with repair operations to optimize refurbished material usage
- Support product ramp planning from early stages through production
- Manage product revision transitions based on supply availability
- Utilize SAP for planning, purchasing, and supply chain activities
- Manage purchase orders for service-related products
- Provide analytical and systems support to the service planning team
- 7 years of experience in service planning or supply chain planning
- Strong experience working with SAP and MRP systems
- Background in service operations, spare parts planning, or inventory management
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and planning teams
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proven ability to improve and automate processes
- Experience writing Excel macros
- Experience with Salesforce or SAP CRM systems
- Familiarity with service planning tools (e.g., Prophet by Baxter)
- Experience in high-volume or complex supply chain environments
