Job Description
We're looking for an Agile Transformation Coach who operates as both a strategic advisor and hands-on practitioner. In this role, you'll guide enterprise clients through meaningful agility improvements across teams, programs, and leadership layers — with success measured by outcomes like faster value flow and healthier teams, not framework adoption.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Partner with senior and delivery leaders to design and evolve agile operating models across multiple pipelines and Agile Release Trains
- Facilitate planning and alignment events (e.g., PI Planning) that drive real clarity and commitment
- Coach teams on flow, backlog management, dependency reduction, and continuous improvement
- Identify systemic impediments and work with leadership to address structural, policy, and governance constraints
- Design and deliver role-based training for leaders, product managers, Scrum Masters, and engineers
- Mentor internal coaches and change agents to build lasting capability within client organizations
- Co-create transformation roadmaps that are realistic, incremental, and outcome-focused
- Use data and qualitative insights to guide transformation decisions and demonstrate progress
- Proven experience coaching agile transformations at scale across multiple teams and programs
- Hands-on experience with Agile Release Trains or large-scale multi-team delivery pipelines
- Strong understanding of lean flow, systems thinking, and value-stream-oriented delivery
- Demonstrated ability to coach and influence senior leaders and executives
- Strong facilitation skills for complex group settings and leadership discussions
- Excellent communication skills — able to flex messaging for executives, managers, and practitioners
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, resistance, and competing organizational priorities
- Experience with multiple scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale, or custom models)
- Background in product management, software delivery, or complex operational environments
- Prior consulting or client-facing advisory experience
- Relevant certifications (SPC, RTE, or equivalent) — practical experience valued over credentials
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field
- Pay Range: $65-85/hr. Contract to hire
- We are required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, We typically do not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $156,700.00. Client benefits are offered to eligible professionals on their first day of permanent employment to include:
