At Catapult, we are seeking consultants located in Virginia, ideally in the Richmond metro area, to support client organizations through ongoing fractional HR assignments.

In this role, you'll support a variety of client organizations, providing expert HR guidance and services. Assignments vary in scope, duration, and hours are not guaranteed, making this a great opportunity for those who value flexibility and diverse work experiences. (Please note: This role cannot be held in addition to a full-time job.)
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver strategic and tactical HR support to multiple clients across many industries
- Provide guidance in all areas of HR, including compliance, employee relations, performance management, benefits, and more
- Help implement or manage payroll, HRIS systems, and leave administration processes
- Conduct workplace investigations and advise on employment law compliance
- Build strong client relationships through responsive, professional service
Key Details:
- This is a part-time, flexible role. Assignments are project-based and not guaranteed to be ongoing or follow a regular schedule.
- This is a remote-first role, though you must be available to travel to local client sites as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- 10 years of exempt-level HR Generalist and/or HR Management experience
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, client-focused, and adaptable
- Experience with payroll and HRIS implementations (preferred)
- Background in benefits and leave administration (preferred)
- Strategic HR and people management experience (strongly preferred)
- HR certification(s) preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
