Your Role
As our Cloud Engineer, you’ll own and evolve our hybrid Microsoft environment (Azure on-prem AD), strengthen our security posture, and drive automation and reliability. You’ll work across IT and business teams to deliver solutions—not just surface problems.
What You’ll Do
- Architect secure, scalable services in Azure (IaaS/PaaS)
- Engineer resilient network connectivity (VNets, VPNs, Palo Alto)
- Administer Intune, Conditional Access, and M365 governance
- Implement MDR/XDR controls and lead incident response
- Manage backup/DR, patching, and lifecycle for Windows servers
- Track and optimize cloud spend (FinOps practices)
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders and document changes
- Foster a collaborative, feedback-driven team culture
Requirements
What You Bring
- 7 years hands-on IT experience with Azure & hybrid identity
- PowerShell IaC (Bicep or Terraform) proficiency
- Strong networking and firewall fundamentals
- Experience with MDR/XDR and Microsoft 365 security
- Clear, professional communication and documentation skills
Preferred
- Microsoft certifications (Azure Admin/Architect)
- Familiarity with Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Purview, PIM
- Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub
