About Us
We are a growing outpatient physical therapy practice committed to clinical excellence and personalized care. Our specialty areas include sports medicine, orthopedics, TMJ dysfunction, headache management, Parkinson’s disease, and balance and vestibular disorders. We are seeking a highly motivated Director of Physical Therapy to lead our dynamic team of clinicians and support staff.
Position Overview
As the Director of Physical Therapy, you will serve as both a clinical leader and strategic manager. You will oversee daily clinical operations, mentor staff, uphold best practices, and ensure that we continue to deliver exceptional outcomes across our key service lines.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Clinical Oversight
- Provide day-to-day oversight of all clinical services and staff
- Foster a culture of evidence-based, patient-centered care
- Mentor and support the professional development of physical therapy staff
- Lead regular clinical team meetings and training sessions
Patient Care
- Maintain a reduced but active caseload in your area of expertise
- Ensure high-quality assessment and treatment plans are delivered
- Promote interdisciplinary collaboration with referring providers
Practice Development & Strategy
- Drive growth in specialty service lines (TMJ, sports rehab, balance, neuro, etc.)
- Collaborate with administrative leadership on strategic planning, marketing, and community outreach
- Help recruit, onboard, and retain team members
Operational Excellence
- Ensure compliance with all clinical, legal, and regulatory standards
- Monitor and improve patient satisfaction, retention, and access
- Optimize clinic workflows, scheduling, and therapist productivity
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Current Vermont PT licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience with at least 2 in a leadership role
- Advanced certifications preferred (e.g. OCS, NCS, CSCS, vestibular, TMJ)
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
