Painter

Responsible for operating paint pot and spray gun or spray cans to apply industrial paint finishes on metal products.

Available shifts:

1st- M-Th, 6:00am-4:30pm, OT when necessary

Your Role on Our Team:

• Mix primer and paint according to specifications.
• Set spray gun controls.
• Clean and maintain painting equipment.
• Properly store flammable products and properly dispose of waste paint products.
• Inspect and record manometer readings of the paint booth.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of paint booths. Change filters, maintain walls and floor coverings.
• May require forklift operation
• Inspect and replace fire suppression sprinkler covers as needed.
• Inspect and maintain respirator and PPE.

Your Skills Should Include:

• Completion of a one year painting/autobody program or equivalent or one year painting work experience is required.

• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
• Basic math and reading skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs
• Must be able to wear a respirator or air supplied hood
