Under direction, the Supported Employment Specialist contacts prospective employers, links clients with appropriate job sites, coaches and monitors clients in adjusting to the behavior, work skills and attitude required by business and industry and evaluates client progress. Also teaches life skills and coordinates education and other referral services for youth.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates degree in Human Services or related field, one year experience in a vocational or rehabilitation work position, record of above average performance in supervising and directing the work of others, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Valid Ohio Drivers license with an acceptable driving record and current vehicle insurance
• An individual who poses a direct threat to the health and safety of himself/herself or others in the workplace will be deemed not qualified for this position.
• Employee must provide own transportation
