Overview
The Tax Manager at Catalyst Family Office is a seasoned tax professional, having demonstrated consistent high performance across multiple functions comprising the tax practice, primarily implementation of all tax projects for clients, prioritizing and managing multiple work streams relevant to each client, and collaborating with other tax team members. You will also have a critical role in teaming with others in the integration of other services that Catalyst Family Office offers to clients such as EMFR, philanthropy, estate planning, risk and insurance, and more.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing client engagement teams, direct work-flow and provide in-depth compliance and consulting services to clients.
- Work closely with the tax team and partner group to provide tax planning, entity structuring and multifaceted solutions to help clients to achieve their goals.
- Assist in developing budgets, determine resource requirements, and direct / monitor engagements.
- Train, motivate and develop staff, senior, and supervisor level professionals.
- Assist in preparing quarterly billing and annual retainer for clients.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or Master’s in Taxation preferred.
- 5 years or more full time work tax compliance experience in ultra-affluent individuals and families, partnership, trust and not-for-profit entities.
- Active CPA or Enrolled Agent.
- Proficiency in common tax technology preparation and reporting software (BNA Income Tax Planner, Checkpoint RIA, CCH Axcess Tax, MS Office(advanced excel capabilities).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in leading and mentoring successful and engaged teams.
- Multi-State, foreign income reporting or gift & estate tax experience.
- Equity compensation (stock options, restricted stock 10b5-1 plans), complex capital transaction experience.
- Demonstrate strong organization skills and attention to details.
- Good communication skills.

- The compensation range for this role is $125,000K/yr. – $185,000K/yr. Final compensation will be tailored to the candidate's unique combination of skills, professional experience, and qualifications, as well as geographic location.
Salary : $125,000 - $185,000
