This role exists to support patient outcomes between doctor visits by delivering consistent, safe, and effective therapies—and by coaching patients so care continues outside the clinic.

You are the stabilizer of the care plan. When this role is done well, patients progress faster, doctors trust the flow, and the clinic runs smoothly without bottlenecks or guesswork.

What Winning Looks Like (Outcomes)

You are winning when:

1. Therapies are delivered safely and consistently

Every patient receives the correct therapy, set up properly, every time.

2. Patients understand and follow their home care exercises and traction are taught clearly and reinforced with confidence.

3. Clinical flow stays on time Patients move through therapy without delays or confusion.

4. Travel cards and therapy plans are accurate, no missed visits, no incorrect entries, no surprises for doctors or billing.

5. Patients feel supported—not rushed or ignored they feel coached, encouraged, and cared for.

Core Responsibilities

Rehab exercises and shockwave therapy

  • Apply prescribed passive therapies safely
  • Set up and monitor shockwave equipment
  • Follow provider instructions precisely
  • Maintain sanitation and safety standards

Patient Coaching (Home Care)

  • Teach prescribed exercises and traction homework
  • Use simple language and demonstrations
  • Confirm understanding using teach-back
  • Encourage compliance without pressure

Therapy Flow & Time Management

  • Prepare therapy areas ahead of schedule
  • Keep patients moving on time
  • Communicate delays or issues early

Travel Cards & Documentation

  • Manage patient encounter forms accurately
  • Track therapy visits correctly
  • Ensure documentation is completed daily

Team Communication

  • Communicate patient concerns or issues to doctors
  • Coordinate with front desk and billing as needed

Scorecard (How Performance Is Measured)

Primary Focus: Consistency and safety

Supporting Metrics

  • Home care compliance checks completed
  • Therapy on-time rate
  • Encounter form accuracy (errors = 0)
  • Patient experience feedback (internal)

Standards (Non-Negotiable)

  • No deviations from prescribed therapy
  • Clean, safe therapy areas at all times
  • Documentation completed daily
  • Patient dignity and comfort respected

What This Role Is Not

  • Not a rushed, assembly-line position
  • Not a role for cutting corners
  • Not a place to "just set machines"

This is a patient outcome support role.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
