Responsibilities:
- Instructional support: Assist teachers with lessons, daily activities, and paperwork.
- Behavior management: Help implement behavior management plans, document behavioral challenges, and teach coping skills.
- Classroom preparation: Set up the classroom to promote a healthy learning environment and ensure safety standards are met.
- Student engagement: Communicate with children, help them understand lessons, and facilitate socialization.
- Clerical support: Perform basic clerical tasks like typing, copying, filing, and processing paperwork.
- Materials preparation: Prepare materials for classroom use.
- Physical support: Provide physical support if needed.
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff, parents, and school issues
Requirements:
- Hold a current Substitute Teaching License (three-year or five-year), with a minimum of an associate degree
- Meet the requirements of a background check
- Meet the requirements of fingerprinting (if applicable)
- Provide documentation of negative TB test within last 90 days
- Special Education Program Aide License - $100
- Substitute License - $125

Arrive anytime between 10 AM and 12:30 PM—Plan to spend 45 minutes to 1 hour at the event.
