What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at Catalyst Cannabis Co.?
POSITION SUMMARY/EXPECTATIONS:
Receptionists are energetic, patient and insightful employees with exceptional customer
service. They understand the importance of being kind and welcoming to all guests
entering our facility and ensure the best initial interaction with all patrons. They are
masters at multitasking and maintain a calm and professional demeanor during busy
times. Receptionists must possess the ability to listen well and communicate effectively
with various audiences and always prioritize the customer/guest before additional job
duties are performed. They are open to consistently developing their cannabis knowledge
and feel comfortable supporting new hires through training. Reception assists the
management team with the activities and operations of the store, while abiding by
policies, procedures and operational guidelines.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
❖ Acknowledges and greets every guest as soon as they enter our facility.
"Welcome to Catalyst Is this your first time visiting or are you returning today? - Are you
aware of our current deals/promotions or may I take a moment to go over them? - Thank
you for your patience, you are all set to enter / please take a seat and we will buzz you in
shortly. "
❖ Acknowledges and thanks all guests when they are exiting the facility.
"Thank you for stopping by - We appreciate your business - Have a great day - Hope to
see you again soon Don't forget about our upcoming deal day on ______"
❖ Communicates all specials/promotions to guests in a friendly and professional manner.
❖ Responsible for understanding the difference between Recreational, Medical, and
State-Medical patients. (Requirements, documentation, daily limits)
❖ Responsible for verifying paperwork, documentation and ID for all guests to ensure
compliance at all times.
❖ Ensures all guests understand and sign off on the membership agreement form.
❖ Ensures all non-retail guests sign in and out of the appropriate Vendor/Visitor log and wear
a Visitor badge while in the facility.
❖ Speaks clearly and professionally both in person and over the phone when answering
patient inquiries.
❖ Provides superior customer service to all guests. Discreetly escalates all serious incidents
to mgmt (upset customers, employee conflict, returns, and security breaches)
❖ Works with security to manager flow of traffic from waiting room to sales floor.
❖ Promotes a work environment that is positive, customer service oriented, and compliant
with established policies and procedures.
❖ Goes above and beyond to give our guests an enjoyable and informative experience
showcasing the Catalyst standard of customer service.
❖ Responsible for creating all budpods, bin labels, paper menus in a timely manner.
❖ Responsible for conducting NON CANNABIS supply level checks every week to turn into
mgmt to ensure everyday supplies are always in stock.
❖ Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of online menus (Daily deal tiles, updates to
holiday hours, featured items, promo item audits, online order management etc.)
❖ Responsible for keeping the Front Desk area organized and tidy at all times.
❖ Maintains a compliant and clean facility and assures side work completion every shift.
❖ Optional participation in Community Volunteering events.
❖ Understands that no vault access is allowed under any circumstances.
❖ Performs other duties/functions as necessary or assigned by Management.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $ $20.00 per hour
