JOB TITLE: Inventory Clerk

DIRECT REPORT: General Manager, Dispensary Manager, & Inventory Manager

PAY RATE: $22/hr

STATUS: Full-time

POSITION SUMMARY: An Inventory Clerk is a professional who is responsible for, but not limited to, keeping track of and managing the shipping and receiving of orders in stores, warehouses, and other facilities. The distribution Inventory Clerk leads the Inventory Associates in several aspects of the inventory process. The Inventory Clerk supports the management team in executing an array of inventory related tasks. In addition, they sign off on shipments to facilitate sales while counting current product inventory.

OPERATIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Guides and delegates tasks to Inventory Associates
• Oversees deliveries and assists with receiving, unpacking, and delivering items to shelves
• Prioritizes adherence to compliance measures
• Verifies product manifest accuracy
• Oversees COA counts and checks expiration dates
• Properly labels product and attaches their respective METRC tags
• Validates item types and quantities before staging/consolidating the warehouse
• Assists with loading company vehicles with product for deliveries
• Ensures workspace is clean, safe, and tidy at all times
• Assists other distribution managers with monthly inventory counts and additional tasks
• Monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels, including reconciling stock counts to computer reports and upkeeping vault organization
• Initiates action to replenish stock by processing purchase orders and other related paperwork
• Inspects shipments for accuracy and completeness, and resolves inconsistencies
• Performs routine clerical duties in support of unit
• Organizational and critical thinking skills

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

• Considerable physical activity. May require handling of objects that can weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Work is normally performed in a typical indoor/office work environment
• Must be able to individually lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for long periods of time
• Must be able to stand for at least 4 hours straight
• Have manual dexterity to handle small tools, seal, and packaging materials with precision
• Comfortable working in a warehouse/distribution environment, including temperature fluctuations or strong odors
• Visual acuity for detailed inspections of labels, product appearance, and documentation

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Previous retail/customer service experience; cannabis sales experience preferred
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background/Live Scan check if necessary
• Must adhere to Employee Handbook policies
• Must have a high school diploma or GED

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
