JB Dental Lab is currently seeking experienced digital denture designers to join our state-of-the-art digital support and design team. This role requires strong digital design capabilities and an unwavering commitment to producing high-quality removable prosthetics that meet both functional and aesthetic standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Denture Design: Utilize CAD software (e.g., EXOCAD, 3Shape) to design dentures, and other removable appliances, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Revisions, Repairs & Adjustments: Complete timely revisions, repairs and adjustments to ensure proper fit, aesthetics and functionality.
- Perform quality control checks on designs to ensure that they meet the necessary standards.
- Be able to effectively read dental RXs to design dental prosthetics.
General Responsibilities:
- Follow detailed instructions from senior dental technicians and dentists to ensure that all designs are created to the proper specifications.
- Collaborate with other technicians, designers, and finishers to maintain efficient production and delivery timelines.
- Perform other duties as may be required or necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital design of removable dental prosthetics.
- Proficient in EXOCAD or 3Shape design software for removable prosthetics (MUST for digital roles).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of dental anatomy, materials science, and occlusion.
- Ability to interpret and follow dental prescriptions and technical specifications.
- Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot issues that may arise during the design process.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with dentists and other dental professionals.
- Possess an understanding of teeth setup, anatomy and morphology.
