Process Engineering Assistant Manager

Cataler North America is a Toyota affilitate and we are currently seeking a Process Engineering Assistant Manager to join our team.

The position hours are: M-F, 8a - 5p

Job duties include:

Leading and mentoring a team of process engineers in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Direct production engineering trials of new products based on R&D specifications and customer requirements. Confirm that the programs are production ready.

Participating in the APQP process and review control plans, PFMEA’s, process drawings, etc., that are created by the process engineers.

Assure that IATF:16949 guidelines are followed for all documentation and processes that fall under the process engineering scope.

Promote a Kaizen mindset amongst the process engineering team and continually focus on improving the internal customer experience.

Foster a teamwork atmosphere within the engineering team, focusing on cross departmental collaboration and accountability to provide superior results for all stakeholders.

Provide executive leadership with ideas for process improvement and be willing to support those ideas with measurable action.

Support and ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and business continuity policies, procedures and international standards associated with such management systems.

Requirements:

Leadership and team management experience.

Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Project management.

Lean manufacturing.

Toyota Production System preferred.

IATF:16949 Quality Management System experience.

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
