andone year of experience providing and/or developing person-centered care plans for individuals with intellectual disabilities/co-occurring disorders;
oran equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degrees in human services may be substituted to meet educational requirements if an applicant does not possess a Bachelor s degree in human services or related field.
Degrees must be from appropriately accredited colleges or universities

- Responsible for auditing and annual training of staff within the home.

- Thorough knowledge of concepts, practices, and techniques of the field of developmental disabilities and the population served to include evaluations and development of comprehensive life plans.
- Skill in writing life plans including punctuation, grammar, etc., and reports to document individual treatment plans.
- Skill is needed in auditing records and programming activities.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively work with people and the ability to recognize and resolve problems are required.
- Current knowledge of the standards, regulations and licensure requirements is also required.
- A demonstrated ability to establish and conduct effective working relationships is essential.
- The ability to coordinate the activities of a group of professionals of varied disciplines; to provide leadership in the development, implementation and evaluation of treatment plans; and to develop cooperative working relationships with a variety of persons providing services to the individuals is required.
- Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in a human service field
- A minimal of two years' experience in prescriptive program planning in a residential setting for the developmentally disabled.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
