Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Patent Licensing Broker located in San Francisco, CA. The Patent Licensing Broker will lead efforts to commercialize patents by identifying licensing opportunities, negotiating agreements, and driving revenue growth. Responsibilities include conducting market analysis, establishing relationships with potential licensees, and providing strategic recommendations for intellectual property (IP) assets. The role also involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align licensing strategies with the company’s goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Intellectual Property and Patent Licensing, with a strong understanding of licensing strategies
- Expertise in Market Research, Competitive Analysis, and Trend Analysis
- Sales and Negotiation skills, including the ability to create and execute licensing agreements
- Strong Communication and Relationship Management skills to work with clients and stakeholders
- Attention to detail, Organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or licensing certifications are a plus
- Experience in the medtech or healthcare industry is highly desirable
