What You’ll Be Doing
Installation:
- Measuring, cutting, and threading pipes according to specifications
- Installing pipes, fittings, and fixtures like toilets, sinks, showers, and faucets
- Connecting plumbing fixtures to the piping system
- Installing water heaters and garbage disposals
- Installing sewer lines and vents
Maintenance and Repair:
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting plumbing issues like leaks, clogs, and low water pressure
- Repairing broken pipes, faucets, and other plumbing components
- Cleaning drains and removing obstructions
- Performing preventative maintenance checks on plumbing systems
Other duties:
- Reading blueprints and construction plans to understand plumbing layouts
- Estimating materials and labor costs for projects
- Adhering to local building codes and safety regulations
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Communicating with clients and providing customer service
- Operating and maintaining plumbing tools and equipment
- Collect payment upon job completion
- Utilize AI technology to review and analyze sales calls, identifying opportunities to improve techniques and increase close rates
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Technical skills: Knowledge of plumbing materials, pipe sizing, installation techniques, soldering, brazing, and pipe threading
- Problem-solving abilities: Diagnosing plumbing issues and finding effective solutions
- Physical strength and dexterity: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in tight spaces, and perform manual tasks
- Attention to detail: Ensuring proper installation and leak-free connections
- Customer service skills: Communicating clearly with clients and addressing their concerns
