Local San Luis Obispo County real estate development firm, Castlerock Development, has an immediate opening for a highly motivated, detail oriented individual to join our team. This full-time position includes a wide range of accounting and administrative duties. Benefit package included after completion of introductory period.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and general accounting required.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and cost accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle). Construction Partner accounting software a plus.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (particularly Excel). Superior Spreadsheet skills needed.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proactive, problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to prioritize work with little supervision.
