- Provide overall leadership and direction for hospice operations, ensuring exceptional patient care and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and execute strategic growth initiatives to expand services and strengthen community presence.
- Oversee financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local hospice regulations and accreditation standards.
- Partner with clinical leadership, medical directors, referral sources, and community organizations to enhance patient care and business development efforts.
- Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain a high-performing interdisciplinary team.
- Foster a culture of compassion, accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
- Analyze operational and quality metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and continued growth.
- Serve as an ambassador for Castle Hospice throughout the community and healthcare network.
- Proven leadership experience as a Hospice Executive Director, Administrator, or similar senior healthcare leadership role.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in hospice operations, regulatory compliance, business development, and team leadership.
- Strong understanding of Medicare hospice regulations, state requirements, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing budgets, financial performance, and operational outcomes.
- Passion for providing compassionate end-of-life care and supporting patients, families, and staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Master's degree preferred.
